Measuring small...

So I had a doc appt. on Monday to make sure "Bucky" was doing well. The last time I went to the doctor was on Dec. 12th, when I developed a hernia. No fun, but really no big deal. At that point I was 31 weeks and 3 days and was measuring right at 31 weeks. Well when I went on Monday I only measured 31 weeks again. My midwife was very nonchalant about it...making it seem like no big deal, but 3 weeks off seems a bit much to me. She ordered an ultrasound for me to make sure all is well, and although I was calm at that time, I'm getting more and more anxious to see if everything is okay. I don't go to the doc until Friday for the ultrasound... This might be the longest 5 days ever! From what I've been told and read online, it is either absolutely nothing to worry about, or it is something serious. How lovely. There is no middle ground on this one. Has anyone else measured small? If so...what happened????!!!!

Had to post this picture of Zach because his little face just melts my heart! Adorable!

hi-ya! one of my friends always measures small - both babies she's had have been that way - but they both were totally fine. they just came out at a nice 6 pounds. So maybe you wont be having a BIG BOY just yet - he'll wait till he gets out. :) We will pray for you! Love you!!!!

Yes, it happened to me with Maiya and I am including the links here of what I posted about it on my blog.

I was measuring like 37 weeks when I was really 40 weeks... but she came right on her due date and she was 7 pounds 8 ounces. You have a long torso like me, and I think that that makes the baby have more room and places to hide, so it measures smaller. I am sure it will be fine, but I remember it scared me too. Hope it all goes well, honey!
