7 month check up

Well our little guy went to the doc yesterday, a new pediatrician that we absolutely LOVE! Her name is Brandy Fouch and she is in Mt.Sterling! So excited to have a real pediatrician for him and to get sane answers to our questions.

Brody is growing like a weed and all is well! He weighed in at 25lbs 3 oz and is 30 inches long! He is in the 99th percentile for both height and weight, which is great with me!

He got three shots, cried for about a minute and then was my sweet, happy boy the rest of the day! I am so lucky! He really is the best kid!

7 months old

Our cute little guy turned 7 months old today! Can you believe it? Time flies! He is absolutely the light of our lives! We love you Brody!

Ten things I need to do...

I'm a huge list maker...just ask my husband! They are everywhere! In fact, Kourtney joked the other day that I could use the back of one of her envelopes to make another one... I write them on everything! And typically I complete about 7/8 of them and then create a new one! However, there are ten items on my list that desperately need to be done, but I'm putting off doing! I am hoping that creating a blog list, I'll feel a bit more motivated to do them! Yeah right!

1. Put together shelving for office
2. Wipe down all the baseboards in the house
3. Organize the master closet
4. Hang clock in office
5. ORGANIZE/COMPLETE office. It is 3/4 of the way done...just dreading the last part
6. Taxes
7. Mop Kitchen Floor
8. Paint bedroom furniture
9. Buy a new cell phone
10. Do a thorough thorough cleaning of master bathroom...again. (I feel like I do this all the time!)

And yet again...

You would think that with my history of costumes, playing dress-up, photo shoots, etc... I would be the one to continually inflict my son with these ridiculous get-ups. But no...it is actually my dear sweet hubby! This happens to be his all time favorite. One day Brody will exact revenge...that is one thing I am sure of!

Old School

The pajamas Brody is modeling are old...and I don't mean 2 years old! My mom bought like 6 pairs of these way back in 1972. All 8 kids wore them repeatedly, and now all of the grandchildren have had their turn! We almost forgot to put Brody in them, and if we had waited any longer, he would have broken the snaps getting them on! Now that is some quality fabric/craftsmanship!

Boating

Just a few pictures from a recent boating adventure! We love going to the lake and Brody absolutely adores the water! We put him in a little covered crab, and he just floats along, content and mellow! We are so lucky to have a boat and live ten minutes from such an amazing lake! The whole family has a great time on the water! Nothing better!
